Nova coffee is a group of producers brought together by the ingenuity and organization of a pharmacist and the pain of the fires of genocide. After seeing all the coffee trees in her region destroyed in the 1994 genocide, Agnes Mukamushinja set her mind to replacing them by empowering women and working with government and NGO resources. Alongside her partner and husband Felix Hitayezu, Agnes has implemented supply-chain cohesion measure to ensure coffees are sold fresh, producers paid on an equitable timeline, and experimentation is carried out (such as this naturally-processed lot) to achieve highest quality standards.

The resulting cup is unparalleled in the clarity of its lemon acidity with juicy fruit sweetness ranging from crisp raspberry/strawberry to a distinctly satisfying watermelon.
