Mount Hagen, capital of the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea, is home to Mong Coffee, a group of eight growers dedicated to experimental post-harvest processing in the name of higher quality. This has included implementation of natural processing, which adds richness to the fruity and floral characteristics of the variety spread common to the country.
The cup presents a clear, smooth cherry sauce with high-cacao dark chocolate, like a cherry cordial.
